Meet Caroline Shea

I know what it’s like to be successful and unhappy. At age 24, I was making a six-figure salary working for myself, photographing weddings in New York City. I was featured in wedding magazines, started a photography community, began teaching workshops, and was making upwards of 10K per wedding, but despite all the outward success I was miserable. Despite achieving everything I wanted to in my career, I was burned out, stressed out, and utterly unfulfilled.

I moved to California for a spiritual reset. After a lot of inner-healing work, I found The Artist Way by Julia Cameron and it sparked a creative revival inside me. At age 30, I began singing, acting, dancing and auditioning again. Things I always loved, but had given up after high school for the sake of “good sense” and “practicality.” Now in my 30s with two kids, it was even less practical, but I saw that creativity for creativity’s sake was the missing link in my life. I started painting and writing poetry. I wrote and directed a short film. I was finally beginning to find fulfillment. It wasn’t connected to success, but rather it was the result of accessing new levels of freedom, autonomy, child-likeness and courage to try new things.

My life in all areas began to reflect a life I had dreamed.

Photography I realized, had been an easy access point into my creativity, a safe touch point, but I was using it to hide from all the things I really wanted to do. Things I was so afraid I would fail at, I wouldn’t even admit I wanted.

I am passionate about helping other creatives find the most authentic, joyful, peaceful expression of themselves and their gifts while learning how to navigate the pitfalls of creating for profit. (Because it is possible to do this without burning out or losing yourself!) You are MORE than an artist, you are a human being and you can only create and give from a place of abundance and overflow. Let me help you get there!
